Last Monday evening, at Mingo, Arthur, son of John Boyd, committed suicide by hanging. He left the house to do the chores, and not appearing at the supper table, his mother went in search of him. In the barn she found him hanging with a rope about his neck and life extinct. It is thought he had been dead about a half hour. He was a young man aged about 23. It is said that for sometime he had been acting queerly, and probably committed the deed while laboring under great mental depression.
