NEWTON MAN COMMITS SUICIDE

Edgar M. Cox died on Tuesday of last week at his home in Newton as the result of a gun wound, self-inflicted. The family is of the opinion that the deed was committed while he was in a temporary fit of insanity, as he had a serious case of brain trouble some time ago. Doctors had warned him that if he became overheated he might become temporarily unbalanced. He was the son of Mrs. Mahala Cox of this city, who with her daughter, Mrs. E.P. Bonsall, attended the funeral.
