Arie H. Verheul Dies at Age 65; Rites at Monroe

MONROE (Special) - Arie H. Verheul, 65, died at his farm home six and one-half miles northwest of Monroe this morning following a long illness.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at Crumpacker Funeral Home in Monroe. Burial will be at Prairie City.

Mr. Verhuel (typed as written) was born Jan. 1, 1886, at Otley. He lived many years in the Prairie City vincinity. survivors are his widow, Janet: one son, Harlod: (typed as written) one daughter, Agnes, both at home and two brothers, Martin of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Dick of Pella. ~ The Newton Daily News, August 1951
