McFadden, Pearl B. – 1899-1992

Pearl B. Henderson McFadden, 93, of Scottsdale, Arizona, a former longtime Prairie City resident, died Tuesday, September 1, 1992 at Scottsdale.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 8 at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City. The Rev. Timothy Peter, pastor of the Church of the Brethren south of Prairie City, conducted the services. Burial was in Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City.
Memorials to the Church of the Brethen are being accepted.
Survivors are three sons, John of Chariton, Lowell of Phoenix, Arizona, and Ray of Sun City, Arizona; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. McFadden was a member of the Prairie City Church of the Brethren, Chapter AV, P.E.O., and was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star.
The daughter of John and Ella Harmon Henderson, she was born March 19, 1899 in Plover. She was a graduate of Drake University in Des Moines.
She was married to George Albert McFadden September 1, 1922 in Prairie City.
She had made her home in Prairie City until 1980, when she moved to Des Moines. Five years ago she moved to Scottsdale.
