“Little Jimmie,” only child of Mr. and Mrs. George Kelly, died of membranous croup, after an illness of only a few hours, March 16, 1895, aged one year, eleven months, and six days. Again has the death angel visited one of earth’s happiest homes and taken from it the fairest flower to transplant it in the home of light above.
Jimmie’s life was as beautiful as it was short. A life of continual sunshine, which he reflected on all around him.
Being an unusually bright, active child and so strong and healthy, many happy plans were made for his future. But at a time when everything seemed so bright and hopeful, disease came and in a few short hours his happy and loving spirit had found a new home where joy and bliss are his forever.
The Master had need of this fair young blossom and in tenderest love lifted it from the gladness of this world into the full sunshine of His eternal love.
