Douglas L. Brown, 58, of Leawood, Kan., passed away Oct. 16, 2010, after a long struggle with cancer.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, at Hillcrest Covenant Church, 8801 Nall Ave., Prairie Village, Kan. A visitation will begin at 1 p.m., also at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall, Kansas City, MO 64114.
