A Saddened Home – On Saturday morning last, Nov. 29th the happy home of Mr. Andrus Turck, in Palo Alto Township was filled with sorrow occasioned by the death of his estimable wife, Mrs. Mary Turck. The deceased had been a great sufferer for several weeks from Typhoid fever – all efforts to stay the advance of the terrible disease proving futile. She was 40 years of age. Has been a member of the M. E. Church for a number of years, and in all her relations in life has sustained the reputation of a noble, Christian woman. To the sadly bereaved husband and his little motherless children, the warmest sympathy is tendered. The funeral services were held in the Newton M. E. Church last Sunday at 12 ½ o’clock, conducted by Rev. J. M. Coats, and the remains interred in the Newton cemetery.
