Kenneth C. Snowden

Kenneth Snowden, age 80, of Mitchellville died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services were held Saturday in Mitchellville at the United Methodist Church with burial in Mitchellville Cemetery.

Kenneth was born in Garden Grove and had moved to Mitchellville after his retirement from the grocery Store they owned in Colfax, in 1975.

Survivors include his wife, Alyce; two sons, Alan of Mitchellville and Kyle of Waterville, Maine; three daughters, Rachel Moore of Mitchellville, Kathy Snowden of Crystal Lake, Ill., and Sue Davis of Somers, Conn.; a brother Donald of Hemet, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
