Services Held For Former Resident

Mrs. Fred H. Logan

Mrs. Fred H. (Irene Anna) Logan, 82, of Winterset, a resident of Colfax from 1930 until 1977 died Saturday, May 6, at a Winterset nursing home.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.

The Rev. Gerard Kulleck, substitute pastor of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Colfax, conducted services.

Burial was in the Kintz Cemetery near Baxter.

Survivors are two sons, Charles of Lorimor and Frank of Colfax; two daughters, Grace Garrison of Phoenix, Arizona, and Mrs. Walter (Mary) Wangnes of Anoka, Minnesota; 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Also surviving are three brothers, Walter Grill of Chicago, Illinois, Anton Grill of Chicago, Illinois, and Fran Grill of Eldorado Hills, California and a sister, Mrs. John (Marie) Childik of Chicago.

Organist: Miss Eleanor Howell. Vocalist: Mrs. Darrold Hunter.

Casket bearers: Thomas Owens, Ted McKeever, Jack Borts, Paul Hill, Wayne Hill, Ben Ruggless, Frank O'Mara.
