Mrs. John (Frieda) Busch, 92, of Luther Manor, formerly of Key West and La Motte, Iowa, died at 12:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, 1997, at Luther Manor.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church, St. Donatus, Iowa, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Egelhof-Casper-Strueber Funeral Home, 1145 Locust St.

Mrs. Busch was born on June 27, 1904, in Rastede, Germany, daughter of John and Helene (Krause) Lubs. She married John Busch on June 23, 1927; he died in 1991.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church for more than 70 years.

Surviving are four sons, Harvey (Janet) Busch, of Dubuque, Carlton (Shirley) Busch, of La Motte, Norman (Mary) Busch, of Knoxville, Tenn., and Eldon (Donna) Busch, of Bellevue, Iowa; and 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a son, Roger, in 1953; a grandson, Allen, in 1995; four brothers; and four sisters.

Memorials may be given to St. John's Lutheran Church and Luther Manor.
