SUSANNA HOYT MCELROY

Mrs. McElroy, whose maiden name was Hoyt, passed away in her home in Sabula, Tuesday evening, July 4th, at 7:15 o'clock, at the age of 75 years, 7 months and 1 day. Susanna Hoyt was born in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, December 3, 1823, coming wests with her parents in 1845. She was married in 1848 to William McElroy, who died on January 12, 1874. To them were born five children, of whom three are living, John, Julia and Frank. Mary died in infancy and William at the age of 29.
