Mrs. M. J. McArthur received a litter from her sister, Mrs. Jennie Phelps, containing information of the death of her husband who died recently at their home in Portland, Oregon.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Forrest who was born July 1853 and is buried in Lincoln Memorial Park in Portland, OR.
