IOWA FALLS-Laura M. Ward Fuller, 86, of Iowa Falls died Wednesday, June 26, 2002, at the Presbyterian Village in Ackley. Funeral service will take place Saturday, June 29 at 2:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Iowa Falls with burial in Jackson Township Cemetery, Owasa. Rev. Don Preston will officiate.

Laura was born Jan. 29, 1916 on the family farm near Popejoy to Henry and Luella Collins Terveer. She graduated from Popejoy High School in 1933. On Oct. 12, 1944 Laura married Wilce Ward in Rockford, Ill. After his death she married Fred Fuller on July 23, 1984 in Iowa Falls. She belonged to the Golden Antlers Moose and the Methodist Church women's group. She enjoyed gardening, canning, music, laughing and being involved in her daughters lives.

Survivors include four daughters, Joan Birkemeyer of Apple Valley, Minn., Jane Johns and her husband, Dean, of Ackley, Judy Fuller and her husband, Gary, of Iowa Falls, and Joyce Metzger and her husband, Wayne, of Otho; a stepdaughter, Janice Knott and her husband, Don, of McCallsburg; 11 grandchildren; five step grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 10 step great-grandchildren; a sister, Clara Pieters, of Omaha, Neb.; and two brothers, Wayne Terveer of Rochester, Minn., and Richard Terveer and his wife, Kay, of Hubbard. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Wilce Ward in 1980; husband Fred Fuller in 1999; a son-in-law Gene Birkemeyer; a sister; and five brothers.
