As a small child she came with her parents to this country. The family settled near Lisbon, Ill., where Mrs. Anderson was confirmed by Rev. P. A. Rasmussen.

In 1890 Mrs. Anderson with her husband came to Iowa and settled on a farm three miles northwest of Randall. in 1911 the family bought and moved on a farm near Elmore, Minn.

After her husband's death, Sept. 9, 1914, she lived a while at Elmore, but in 1924 she moved to Story City where she made her home until last fall, when her health failed, she moved to Randall where she alternately stayed with her daughter, Mrs. H. Okland, and her son, Orville. At these places she received good care to the last.

Mrs. Anderson was a Christian mother. She loved the church and for the church she prayed and worked. She trusted in her Saviour's grace and had a sure hope of everlasting life beyond. For many years she was a faithful member of Elim Lutheran church at Randall. Since coming to Story City she was affiliated with the Immanuel Lutheran church.
