None Left of First Wellsburg Administration

With the passing of Dr. W. T. Chinn, the last of the surviving members of the first administration of the town of Wellsburg has passed on. The records show that this town began to function as a corporation in 1896. W. T. Chinn was the town's first mayor. The other members of the first administration were: Recorder, John H. Muller; Treasurer, John Bullinger; Assessor, Wm. Reinhart; Councilmen, J. L. Hartman, Claas Primus, Joe Doyen, Peter Klugist, Dan Bonacher, and John Schafer.
