obit/burial?

We are searching for the location of death/burial
of our great great grandfather, Veranus P. Hunt,
born 1827 and died 06/13/1876 in Iowa. We know
the family was in Butler county in 1870's but I
just recently learned his son was married in Hampton just a few months after Veranus' death.

I'd appreciate any help anyone might provide.
