Searching for information on Hiram Sylvanus SMITH, b. VT, married Ruth Amelia RAYMOND, either 1853 or 1858. His father was also name Hiram Smith and lived in Floyd. Would like to obtain marriage certificate and any birth certificates for their children, especially Beaula SMITH. Hiram S. SMITH also served 4th Inf, Co F, IA during the Civil War. Need help finding documents and other information on the family. Willing to share what I have.
