Ida Ann ( Chase) Curtis

IDA ANN CHASE, MOTHERMARY SCHMID CHASE AND FATHERJOHN W CHASE

I have been trying to find out about my grandmother, Ida Ann Chase dob 1/23/1888 (married name Curtis).
She married George Curtis in Iowa approximately 1905. We just received a copy of her application for soc.sec.#, and that shows us her parents names, and her birthplace. But we cannot find out anymore about George Curtis, and if they were married. She would not tell her son, Leo William Curtis, dob 3/24/1907, anything about his father. Leo never knew him.
