In 1891, C. C. Hillman was reportedly the only photographer in Oelwein. When the "Souvenir Edition of The Oelwein Record" (an early Oelwein newspaper) booklet was published in 1898, Mr. Jacobs did the majority of the photos included. Think both Mr. Hillman and Mr. Jacobs were 'out of the picture' by the very early 1900's.
