Five of the Simonsen children born in Eldorado were christened at "Little Iowa Norsk-Evangelisk Lutherske Menighed" in Winneshiek County in 1859-1867.
Anyone care to speculate why christened there rather than Eldorado Lutheran? Was it because the Evangelical Lutheran were a different sect?
