PEOSTA, Iowa - Brecken James Dupont, twelve day old infant son of Brian and Daniella Dupont, of Peosta, died Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Lurie's Children's Hospital in Chicago.

Friends and relatives may call after 1 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2015, at St. John's Catholic Church in Placid, Iowa, where a Mass of the Angels will be held at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be held in the church Cemetery. The Reiff Funeral Home, Epworth, Iowa, is in charge of arrangements.

Brecken was born April 13, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque.

He is survived by his parents, Brian and Daniella Dupont; a sister, Coy, at home; grandparents, Kenneth and Darla Hosch, of Epworth; grandparents, Leon and Julie Dupont, of Sherrill; great grandparents, Bill and Darlene Conrad and Delores Hosch, all of Epworth, Marie Dupont, of Dubuque, and Mary Decker, of Sherrill; Aunts, uncles and cousins, Shane & Sarah Hosch and Sebastien, Adam and Kristin Hosch, Morgan, Kole and Ellyana, Kandy Hosch and friend, Ben Klein, Randy and Stacy Dupont, Madi and Colton and Katie Dupont and friend, Dale Schueller.

He is preceded in death by his great grandfathers, Fred Hosch, Norb Dupont and Alvin Decker.

A Brecken James Dupont memorial fund has been established in lieu of flowers.
