BANKSTON, Iowa -- Jeanette E. Wolf, 84, of 23370 N. Bankston Road, Bankston, died at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at St. Clement's Catholic Church, Bankston, with the Rev. Aloysius Vorwald officiating. Burial will be in St. Clement's Cemetery, Bankston. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Reiff Funeral Home, Farley, where a CDA Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Friends also may call after 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

She was born on March 14, 1925, in Farley, daughter of Michael and Lena (Kramer) Leibold. She received her education in the former St. Joseph's School in Farley.

She married Peter "Joe" Wolf on Sept. 2, 1948, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Farley; he preceded her in death on Nov. 24, 1990. The couple farmed in the rural Bankston area.

She was a member of St. Clement's Parish in Bankston and their Altar and Rosary Society, a member of the Catholic Daughters of the America's Presentation Court 1460 and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary of New Vienna.

Surviving are 14 children, Grace (Marvin) Stoffel, of Asbury, Bill (Linda) Wolf, of Epworth, Donna Block, of Ankeny, Ann (Terry) Breitbach, of Epworth, Rosie (Ron) Hanson, of Dubuque, Rick (Joanne) Wolf and Mike Wolf, both of Delhi, Dave (Julie) Wolf and Marilyn "Lynn" (Mike) Thill, both of Dubuque, Tom (Sharon) Wolf, of Bankston, Rita (Jim) Lupkes, of Denver, Colo., Ed Wolf and Joe Wolf, both of Bankston, and Laurie (Jamie) Barger, of Verona, Wis.; 24 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Rita Trenkamp, of Monticello, and a brother-in-law, Marvin Harms of Cobb, Wis.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Katherine "Kay" Wolf, on Dec. 9, 1962; a grandson, Brian Stoffel; and two sisters, Hilda Thor and Arlene Harms.
