ZWINGLE, Iowa - Services for Scott M. Arensdorf, 19, of Zwingle, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Assumption Catholic Church, Sylvia Switch, rural Zwingle.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Ed Siegert-Al Didesch Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave., where there will be a parish wake service at 4 p.m.

Scott was employed at Eagles Country Market.

He was born on Oct. 7, 1976, in Dubuque, son of Ronald and Kathleen (Potter) Arensdorf.

He graduated from Maquoketa High School in 1994, where he was a member of the wrestling and football teams. He was taking computer classes at John Deere Dubuque Works and planning to attend Northeast Iowa Community College this fall.

Surviving are his parents, Ronald and Kathleen Arensdorf; two sisters, Brenda Arensdorf, of Oskaloosa, and Stacy Arensdorf, of Waterloo; his maternal grandparents, Frank and Darlene Potter, of Zwingle; and his paternal grandmother, Grace Arensdorf, of Dubuque.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Henry Arensdorf, on April 7, 1986.
