James Ravenscroft

James Frank Ravenscroft, 83, of 2245 S. 10 St., Burlington, died at 5:43 p.m., Monday, Nov. 5, 1990, at Burlington Medical Center.

Born April 30, 1907, in Garrison, Iowa, he was the son of John Henry and Ethelyn Rose Ravenscroft. He married Velma Fern Miller, Nov. 14, 1933. She died June 16, 1962. He married Lucille Wagler May 25, 1963 in Burlington.

He was a machine operator at Winegard Co. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Wendall (Rosy) Eccles, Burlington, and Mrs. Gary (Clarice) Wagler, Colona, Ill.; one stepson, Gary Wagler, Colona, Ill.; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8 p.m. at Lunning Chapel.

Services for Mr. Ravenscroft will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Daniel Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.

A memorial has been established to the First Church of the Nazarene.
