MEDIAPOLIS - Albert Hadler, 77, Mediapolis, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, at 10 p.m. at his home.

He was born Jan. 20, 1896, in Des Moines county, the son of Henry and Marguerita Koenig Hadler. He married Clara Miller April 7, 1920, in Des Moines county. A retired farmer, he was a member of First Presbyterian church, World War I veteran, and Barracks 2327 of Wapello.

Surviving: The wife: four sons, Richard, Ann Arbor, Mich., Robert, St. Louis, Mo., Ronald, Burlington, and Roger, Fremont, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Vierling, Mediapolis; a sister, Mrs. Metha (Meta) Ping, Burlington; six grandchildren.

Funeral: Saturday, 2 p.m., Mediapolis First Presbyterian church, Rev. Ralph Schenk; Kossuth cemetery. A memorial has been established at the church. Body is at Fry Chapel, Mediapolis.
