NEW LONDON - Roy Edwin Wagner, 73, died at his home on Danville Rt. 2 Thursday, Oct. 10, after an extended illness.
He was born Aug. 16, 1901, the son of Theodore and Louise Schroeder Wagner. He married Esther Wehage at Davenport on Aug. 2, 1930.
Mr. Wagner was a member of Bethany Lutheran church of Burlington.
Surviving: The wife; two daughters, Bernice and Barbara Wagner, both at home; and three brothers and a sister; Arthur and Charlie Wagner, both of Danville; Fred Wagner, of Arkansas; and Mrs. Nellie Tonkinson, Cedar Rapids.
Funeral: 10:30 Monday, Elliott Chapel; Rev. Roy Satre; Burlington Memorial Park cemetery mausoleum.
