Morning Sun, Ia. -- Funeral for Mrs. Marie Hutchcroft, 72, rural Morning Sun, who died Saturday evening, May 25, in Mediapolis, were held at Pierce funeral home here Tuesday, Rev. George Snyder; Kossuth Cemetery, Mediapolis.
She was born Jan. 27, 1902, in Burlington, the daughter of William and Alvina (Berkenstock) Oberman. She married Ralph (Cy) Hutchcroft in Mediapolis Feb. 15, 1923. The couple farmed in the Mediapolis, Wapello and Morning Sun area.
Surviving: The husband; son Jack, Burlington; daughters, Mrs. Janet Enke, Morning Sun, and Mrs. Linda Wilson, Athens, Oh.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and sister, Mrs. Mildred Blakeway, Danville.
