Mary Ethel Walker, 74, of Route 2, died at 1:28 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 1988, at Burlington Medical Center.

Born Sept. 28, 1913, at Yarmouth, she was the daughter of Pearl and Ola Beck Gabeline. She married Earl T. Walker Nov. 2, 1937, at Wapello.

She was a housewife and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Earl; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Eibes, Burlington, and Mrs. Rita Cashman, Fort Madison; one sister, Mrs. Betty Hutchcroft, Mediapolis,; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Prugh's Chapel.

The service for Mrs. Walker will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Prugh's Chapel with the Rev. Robert Dodder officiating. Burial will be in North Walker Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the North Walker Cemetery.
