Ira L. Wagler

Ira L. Wagler, 75, of 1200 Osborn, died at 3:50 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, at Burlington Medical Center.

He was born May 10, 1910, in Rock Island County, Ill., to Joseph and Florence M. Carruthers Wagler. He married Lois L. Andrews at Rock Island.

Mr. Wagler was retired after 50 years as an upholsterer with Chittenden & Eastman Co. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the Upholsterers International Union. He was of the Protestant faith.

Surviving: His wife; a daughter, Mrs. Margie Broeg, Burlington; two sons, Larry A. Wagler, at home, and Lawrence E. Wagler, Burlington; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Leona Sissel, Muscatine, Mrs. Gertrude Fletcher, Mrs. Ozetta Loose and Mrs. Eva Schafer, all of Burlington; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Monday, Prugh's Chapel, the Rev. A. C. Koengeter; Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
