Mrs. Jessie Scheihing

Mrs. Jessie L. Scheihing, 97, of 2705 Bock street, died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24 (1972), in Cottage hospital, Galesburg, Ill.

She was the daughter of Zacharias and Rebecca Bowers Izer and was born Sept. 17, 1885, at Marion. She married John Schiehing in Burlington on May 14, 1921; he died July 6, 1960.

Mrs. Scheihing was a member of the Latty United Church of Christ.

Surviving: Three sons; Rodney Neal Scheihing, St. Charles, Mo.; Isadore Martin Scheihing, Davenport, and Richard Neal Scheihing, Sperry; three daughters: Mrs. W. F. Pepin, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Barbara Breuer, Galesburg, and Mrs. Margaret McCune, Burlington Rt. 3; 13 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Lunning Chapel at 10:30 Wednesday, Rev. David Michael; Latty cemetery.
