Ann Schoof

Ann Sophie Schoof, 84, of 1208 S. Starr, Burlington, died at 9:50 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 1994, at Burlington Medical Center.

Born Dec. 29, 1909, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Charles and Jenny Thomson Warth. On Aug. 5, 1933, she married Antone (Tony) J. Schoof in Kahoka, Mo.

Mrs. Schoof was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church, a Girl Scout leader, a den mother, a member of the PTA, a sponsor of Luther League at church Debrah class at the church.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, John "Jack" Schoof and Robert Schoof, both of Burlington; one daughter, Mary Ann Schleif of Burlington; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two nieces; and one nephew.

Friends may call at Prugh's.

The funeral for Mrs. Schoof will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Bethany Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Carl Engstrom officiating. Burial will be in North Walker Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for Bethany Lutheran Church.
