Connie Sue Faidley, 66, of Mediapolis, died at 5:53 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2017, at Great River Medical Center.
Born July 15, 1950 in Burlington, she was the daughter of Melvin and Jean (Rothlauf) Schroeder. On September 9, 1968 she married Walter Faidley Sr. at Danville Congregational Church.
Connie was a 1968 graduate of Danville High School. She worked at Leopold, Cycle Specialty, G.E., Wal-Mart Pharmacy and Champion Spark Plug.
Connie enjoyed motorcycle riding, any motor sport; she was state champion two consecutive years. She was an excellent cook and baker, a hard worker, enjoyed taking car rides, and going on the river. She and her husband were constant companions and she also loved spending time with her grandchildren baking cookies.
