Mrs. Mary W. Peterson, 63, died Saturday, June 7 in Jefferson County hospital, Fairfield, following an extended illness.
She was born May 15, 1906 in Des Moines county, the daughter of Frank and Adeline Williams Walker. She married Raymond Peterson on July 26, 1930.
A member of Lockridge Lutheran church, Mrs Peterson had lived in Fairfield over 25 years.
Survivors include; the husband; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Fowler, Columbus Junction, Mrs. Mabel Edell, Denver, Colo. and Mrs. Fay O'Brien, Mattoon, Ill.; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 children, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Services were held Monday with burial in Aspen Grove cemetery, Burlington.
