Mark Steven Johnson

Mark Steven Johnson, 33, of 1521 Gnahn St. died Thursday, Feb. 21 at his home of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Burlington police.

Born Nov. 20, 1946 in Burlington, he was the son of Jack and Bonnie Doyle Johnson. He married Maedean K. Walker in Burlington, Jan. 15, 1971.

He was of the protestant faith, and a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He was employed as a welder at J I Case.

Surviving: his wife; one daughter, Misty, at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Johnson; his grandmother, Mrs. Ruth Johnson, Burlington.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, at Prugh's chapel, the Rev. Dale Hempen; Aspen Grove cemetery.
