Calvin L. Williams, 84, of Briarcliff Road, died Thursday, April 17, in the Klein Unit of Burlington Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 26, 1901, in Benton Township, Des Moines County, to Lauman F. and Clara Tackenberg Williams. He married Virginia Zaiser on May 14, 1941, at St. Paul Catholic Church.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and was a retired farmer and trucker.
Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Mary (Matthew) Snyder, Burlington; and one son, Leon, Rochester, N.Y.
The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at Beatty-Hass Funeral Chapel.
Services for Mr. Williams will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with the Rev. Albert Hauser officiating. Burial will be in Kossuth Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for St. John Catholic Church.
