Melvin C. Brandenburg

Melvin C. Brandenburg, 72, of 1101 Walnut, died in Burlington Medical Center at 12:42 p.m. Wednesday, July 31.

He was born Feb. 7, 1913, in Des Moines County, to John and Irene Kantmeier Brandenburg.

Mr. Brandenburg was a truckdriver. He was unmarried.

Surviving: A son, Ronald, Burlington, and two daughters, Marjorie Setterburg, Ames, and Sharon Brandenburg, Burlington; and a friend, Mary Larson, with whom he made his home.

Committal: 11 a.m. Saturday in the Latty Cemetery. The body is at the Lunning Chapel.
