Clarence G. Pfadenhauer, 74, of 302 Agency, West Burlington, died in St. Francis Continuation Care Center at 2:15 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 16. (1983)
He was born May 11, 1908, in Des Moines County to Charles and Bertha Hillman Pfadenhauer. He married Wilma Wallentine July 30, 1930, at Danville.
He had been a farmer, carpenter and Insuranceman, and was a member of the Church of the Open Bible.
Surviving: The wife; son Roger, Pella; three daughters, Irene Bush, Freeport, Ill., Elda Pfadenhauer, Rockford, Ill., and Sharon Welker, Des Moines; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Lunning Chapel, the Rev. Jack Cave; Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial for his church has been established.
