Mrs. Esther Wagner, 79, died Monday at the Danville Care Center. (Dec. 9, 1985)

She was born March 22, 1906, in Franklin township to Leonard and Louise Luetger Wehage. She married Roy Wagner Aug. 2, 1930, in Davenport.

She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church.

Surviving: Twin daughters Bernice Wagner and Barbara Wagner, both of Danville, a sister, Vera Beckman, Burlington; three brothers, Walter Wehage, Mt. Pleasant; Carl Wehage, Burlington; and Melvin Wehage, Burlington.

Funeral: 1 p.m. Wednesday, Lunning Chapel, the Rev. Thomas Jones; Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Faith Lutheran Church.

Services for Mrs. Esther Wagner who died Dec. 9 will be held in the Lunning Chapel Wednesday, 1 p.m., with the Rev. Thomas Jones officiating. Internment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lunning Chapel Tuesday. A memorial for the Faith Lutheran Church has been established.
