DANVILLE – Mrs. Charlie (Blanche) Wagner, 76, of Danville, died at 6:10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, at Burlington’s Memorial hospital, Eastman unit.

She was born March 10, 1893, at Danville, the daughter of Frank and Alice Sawtell Sater.

She was married to Charlie W. Wagner at Danville June 18, 1919.

She attended Iowa Wesleyan college, Mt. Pleasant, and was a member of the Danville United Methodist church, the American Legion auxiliary, Hawkeye Natives, Senior Citizens, the Thursday club and the Rural Letter Carriers auxiliary.

Surviving: The husband; a daughter Mrs. Claude (Etta) Heddens, Mediapolis; a son, Holly Wagner, Danville; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas H. Sater and Paul H. Sater, both of Denver, Colo.

Services: Wednesday, 2 p.m. at the United Methodist church, Danville; Rev. Ellis Andrews; Jaggar cemetery, Danville. The body is at the Elliott chapel, New London.
