Homer Henry

Homer J. Henry, 62, of 18097 165th St., Danville, died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 1995, at Mission Hospital in Mission, Texas.

Born May 29, 1932, in Canton, Ill., he was the son of Homer Henry Sr. and Mildred Knoll Henry. On Oct. 16, 1954, he married Patricia Storrer in Burlington.

Mr. Henry was a machinist at the Burlington Northern Railroad for 40 years. He retired in 1994.

He was a member of the Machinists Union and the Mainliners.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Kathy Sylvester of New London; one son, Kirk Henry of Burlington; four grandchildren; one brother, John Henry of Washington; one sister, Alice Champagne of Burlington.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.

Visitation will begin after 8 a.m. Monday in Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

The funeral for Mr. Henry will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. William Trump officiating. Burial will be in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery.

A memorial has been established.
