Christian T. Wagler

Chirstian T. Wagler, 1203 Washington street, died in St. Francis hospital at 4 p.m. Oct. 25, three days after his 86th birthday. He was a retired farmer.

Wagler was born at Pulaski (22 Oct 1870) and was married to Mary Huber of Kan., on April 14, 1894.

The wife survives, as do six sons and a daughter: Michael Wagler, Little York, Ill.; Joseph, Benjamin, Paul, Ulysses and Robert Wagler, all of Burlington, and Mrs. Lewis Frank, of Salem.

Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and the following brothers; William Wagler, Chicago; Daniel Wagler, Gridley; Phillip Wagler, Muscatine, and Joseph and Samuel Wagler, both of Burlington.

Last rites will be held at the Apostolic Christian church, near Oakville, at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Noah Schrock will officiate.

The body will be taken from the Prugh chapel to the church at 9 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
