Killed in Montana Mine

A brief message was received by Miss Juanita Herrill Thursday announcing that her father, A. C. Herrill, had been killed in a mine at Butte, Montana. No particulars were given. He was formerly a resident of this county, but some years ago went to Virginia City and thence to Butte, in both of which places he followed mining. He was about 45 years of age. His remains will be shipped to this city for interment, Placerville Lodge No. 70, Knights of Pythias, having charge of the obsequies and the funeral probably taking place next Monday. He was a member of Yerrington Lodge, K. of P., of Yerrington, Nevada.
