Mrs. Lars Larson, 75, Dies After Long Illness
Mrs. Lars O. Larson, 75, 1008 S. 14th street, died at Burlington hospital at 12:40 a.m. today after an illness of several months.
Christina Westlund, was born in Gastrikland, Sweden, Feb. 24, 1867, and came to the United States 50 years ago., moving to Burlington, where she has since lived. A member of the Messiah Lutheran church, she belonged to the missionary society of that pastorate and the Royal Neighbors of America.
Surviving beside her husband are two sons, Ewald M. and Herbert L., both of Burlington; three daughters, Mrs. Regina Larm and Mrs. Agnes Wemhoener, Burlington and Mrs. Mildred Gockell, Cleveland, Ohio; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Johanna Rodin, Burlington and Mrs. Anna Storm, Sweden and one brother, F.T. Westlund, Frankelay, Mo.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Burnett-Wallen funeral, in charge of Rev. A.D. Freden with burial in Aspen Grove cemetery.
