Funeral services for Mrs. Benjamin B. Gulick, 54 years old, who died yesterday morning at 10 o'clock at her home, 1719 Smith street, will be held Thursday noon from the residence and at 2 o'clock from the Old Stone church near Sperry, Ia. Burial will be made in the Stone church cemetery.
Mrs. Gulick, whose maiden name was Sarah E. Gulick, was born in Des Moines county on October 30, 1871, and had lived in this county all her life. She formerly lived in Franklin township but had made her home in Burlington for the past nine years.
She was married to Benjamin Gulick 35 years ago. She was a member of the Sperry M. E. church. Although Mrs. Gulick had been troubled somewhat with heart disease, she was not taken ill until about eight hours previous to her death.
Surviving are four sons, Clarence, of Des Moines county, and Roy, Homer and Elmer, all of Burlington; three daughters, Minnie, Lucy and Daisy, all at home; and eight grandchildren.
