Orville Bonser
Orville Bonser, 79, 328 Curran, died at 7 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 11, in Memorial hospital. He was born June 16, 1893, in Henry County, the son of James and Annabelle Bonser.

He was married Oct. 4, 1923, to Dorothy Shipley in Burlington. Bonser was employed at Lock & Dam 18 for 20 years and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 150, Senior Citizens and Barracks 1101, World War I veterans.

Surviving: The wife, one son, Carl, West Burlington; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Lunning chapel, Rev. John Ziegler, Burge Cemetery, New London. A memorial to Oak Street Baptist church has been established.
