Chester K. Walker

Mr. Chester Kaster Walker, 77, a retired New London farmer, died Friday at 5:10 p.m. at Memorial hospital at Mt. Pleasant. He has been a patient there five weeks.

He was born July 18, 1886, at Burlington, the son of Charles B. and Cynthia R. Kaster Walker. On Feb. 16, 1910, he married Selma Walker, at Burlington. She died March 25, 1948.

He had lived in New London the past 20 years and was a member of the Methodist church.

Surviving are two brothers, Walter B. Walker, New London, and Lawrence R. Walker, Mt. Pleasant. A brother, Bates, and a sister, Cora, died earlier.

Services will be at 2 p.m.Monday at the Elliot Chapel, New London. Rev. Clarence Morrison, pastor of the Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington.
