Mike Ervine

Mike Ervine, 64, of Burlington died at 7:42 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born Aug. 25, 1946, in Marlington, W.Va., he was the son of Bernard Harris and Anna Lee Smith Ervine. On Jan. 20, 1968, he married Rosemary Hierstein in Burlington.

Mr. Ervine retired from J.I. Case Co. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Douglas Ervine of West Burlington; one grandchild; one brother, Robert Ervine of Roanoke, Va.; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

No visitation or services are planned. The body has been cremated. Burial will be at a later date in West Virginia.
