Alice E. Gaul, 84, formerly of Dyersville, died Saturday, April 8, 1995, in Good Neighbor Home, Manchester, after a brief illness. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, St. Francis Xavier Basilica. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at Kramer Funeral Home, where a parish Scripture service begins at 7:30 p.m.

Survivors include three sons, John of Peosta, Daniel of New Vienna and Patrick of Luxemburg; three daughters, Phyllis Hildebrand of Dyersville, Elaine Shaw of Springville and Karla Kluesner of Farley; a brother, Linus Hoeger of Dyersville; and a sister, Bernice Pape of Dyersville.
