DYERSVILLE, Iowa - Lori Meyer, 41, of Dyersville, died Tuesday, April 25, 2006, at home, following a long illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville, with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where there will be a parish scripture service at 5 p.m.

Mrs. Meyer taught at LaSalle (R.H.C.L.) Catholic School, Holy Cross, for 19 years. She was born on Nov. 14, 1964, in Dubuque, daughter of Robert and Lillian (Hermsen) Steger. She married Michael Meyer on July 7, 1995, at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville.

Lori enjoyed gardening, flowers and thunderstorms. She especially loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband, Mike; a daughter, Carly, at home; her parents, Robert and Lillian Steger, of Dyersville; four brothers, Ron (Karen) Steger, of Bankston, Keith (Judy) Steger, of Colesburg, and Jim Steger and Mark Steger, both of Dyersville; three sisters, Lisa (Kevin) Goedken, of Worthington, Linda (Jim) Hansel, of Dyersville, and Sarah (Frank) Cleveland, of Marion; and her father and mother-in-law, Leo and Virginia Meyer.
