Loras E. Kluesner
Manchester, Iowa

Loras E. Kluesner, 42, 1110 N. 2nd St., Manchester, died of an apparent heart attack at 12:55 a.m. Sunday, March 21, 1993, at Myrtue Memorial Hospital, Harlan.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manchester, with burial in the church cemetery, where military rites will be accorded by the Veterans of Foreigh Wars Manchester Post 6637. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Bohnenkamp-Theulen Funeral Home, Manchester, where there will be a rosary at 5:15 p.m., a VFW service at 6:30 p.m. and a wake service at 8 p.m.

Mr. Kluesner worked at the Sears Automotive Shop, Lindale Mall, Cedar Rapids, for 24 years, and had just begun working for Loecke Building Service.

He was born on Aug. 17, 1949, in New Melleray, rural Peosta, son of Edmund S. and Virginia A. (Gotto) Kluesner. He married Alice J. Milroy on Feb 13, 1971, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manchester, she survives.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manchester, and Veterans of Foreigh Wars Manchester Post 6637. He was a 1968 graduate of West Delaware High School, and was an Army veteran, having served in Vietnam.

Also surviving are a daughter, Jeanne Kluesner, at home; two sons, Bill, at home, and Paul, of Manchester; his mother, Virginia Kluesner, of Manchester, two sisters, Elizabeth Kintzle, of Estherville, and Kathryn Hunt, of Earlville, and three brothers, Patrick, of Harlan, and David and Lyle, both of Manchester.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edmund S. Kluesner on Aug 2, 1977.
